off the lobby.
A design team lead by renowned architect and designer Chandu Chadha from Hong
Kong, conceived the look and feel of the bar to give it that classic yet contemporary
look. Chipstead features a stunning range of classic malts, wines, a large selection
of white spirits and rare & old whiskies namely the Ladyburn and Girvan.
Also on offer are Absinthe, Armand de Brignac Gold Champagne, Rose Champagne
and collection of rare liquor like the Vintage vodkas - Kauffman Vodka Special
Vintage 2003 and the Kauffman Inauguration Blend.
Mixologist Jiri Majerik, an expert on the art of cocktail making, has put together
a comprehensive list of unimaginable and innovative cocktails. The Bar Snacks
include elements of Oriental Asian finger food and Western style Tapas namely
Indonesian lamb skewers, butter garlic lemon grass tossed prawn tails, Crisp
konchin baby corn and mushroom in sweet chili dip, crisp garden vegetables "pepper
salt", pearls of creamed corn cake peanut dip, Pumpkin, spinach and gorgonzola
tart with shallot confit, Cajun dusted tofu with Soya and ginger, sage and spinach
fritters to name a few and the exotic caviar. Uber trendy glassware from Urban
Bar - famed crystal glass makers in the world, designer barware, crockery and
cutlery gives the bar an edgy and stylish appeal.
ToTT's and Roof Terrace, The Excelsior Hong Kong

brand new outdoor roof terrace offering alfresco wining and dining is now open
with exhilarating views of Victoria Harbour and the stunning city skyline. The
extension coincides with a renaming of The Excelsior's roof top restaurant and
bar to ToTT's and Roof Terrace. ToTT's and Roof Terrace on the 34th floor takes
alfresco wining and dining to new heights. Entering through a red glass door,
guests will have breathtaking views of the harbour overlooking Hong Kong's skyscrapers
through a newly constructed glass parapet, complemented by wooden-decking, rich
violet and gold mosaics, accentuated by LED and optical fibre lighting.

chic new lifestyle hotel The Mira Hong Kong opened recently.The new 492-room
address on Nathan Road is heralded as one of Hong Kong's most upscale and technologically
advanced hotels.The Mira Hong Kong's stunning design was a collaborative effort
by an international team including world-renowned lifestyle guru Colin Cowie,
who designed Oprah Winfrey's Legends Ball and John Travolta's 50th birthday,
and Charles Allem of CAD International.
The hotel is also set to establish itself as a fashionable new dining destination
in the heart of the city. Finest European gastronomy is on the menu at signature
restaurant WHISK, masterminded by award-winning Chef Justin Quek.

Following the highly acclaimed opening of The Putman in 2007, luxury developer,
National Properties Holdings has unveiled Le Rivage. This newly-built boutique
hotel apartment is National Properties' second collaboration in Hong Kong with
legendary French designer Andrée Putman. Le Rivage occupies a glamorous
waterfront location in the Western District of Hong Kong with unobstructed Victoria
Harbour views. Each of the 50 bespoke suites offer guests a relaxing oasis in
the bustling metropolis with understated luxury and uncompromising comfort.
The use of blues and whites pay homage to the breathtaking harbour views seen
through the large picture windows. The generous 1,000 square foot apartments
at Le Rivage each have a private lift lobby and entrance. In addition, two apartments
on the third floor of the building have their own private terrace and garden
area. The suites come fitted with state-of-the-art gadgets and furnishings including
a Toshiba 42" Full HD LCD television and DVD player and a Sony hi-fi system
with iPod docking as well as a versatile kitchen, perfect for dining alone or
for entertaining. Le Rivage is conveniently located close to the Shun Tak Macau

IVY Shanghai
Flamboyant boutique hotel IVY Shanghai is closing for five months for a dazzling
facelift and re-launch. A stunning indoor/outdoor lobby bar & lounge, loaded
with contemporary creature comforts and all-day live DJ sets, is the new spot
for all-hours people watching - over champagne, wines and tapas. An authentic,
open plan Italian restaurant with al-fresco seating is being created by Italian
chef - Michele Rodelli. The hotel's signature Japanese teppanyaki restaurant
Kuramastu will also be re-styled and enhanced also. Scheduled to re-launch in
the first quarter of 2010, the 46-room boutique property foresees an increase
in international and national travellers next year due to the 2010 Shanghai
Expo. Located in a surprisingly quiet Jing An district residential street that
is right next door to the high-traffic New Factories nightlife zone, the hotel
occupies the former 1950's Jiangning Cinema. It is renowned for theatrical rooms
and interiors by edgy, young American-French designer Dillon Garris.
